Garden Delight ~ Show and Tell Friday...
Come sit, and stay awhile...
I' m joining in the fun for "Show and Tell" Friday hosted by Cindy at Romantic Home.
I found this pretty flowerpot with birds recently and knew I wanted to create a garden centerpiece for my table. I picked some purple iris, a few hosta leaves and added them to the flower pot. I happened to find one sweet yellow day lilly in bloom today so I added that as well, along with three garden tools that I recently purchased for this purpose. I love creating unique floral arrangements and I love how this turned out. Its a pretty wide ceterpiece and it really has a nice height, I think the garden tools add a bit of fun.
If you look closely you can see the garden tools peeking out...
I love all the different elements of this table, the blue in the tablecloth with the green placemats and yellow dishes look so pretty together...
The sun is just beginning to set...
The bird statues add a bit of rustic charm. I like how they look like they are very old and covered in moss...
The ivy topiary in the rusty flower pot adds another rustic element to this table...

Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteI would love to get inside your head when it comes to creating such lovely tablescapes....I know I could learn a few new things and ideas for sure.
This tablescape is so lovely. I think the colors are so well coordinated and the idea of using the gardening tools is very artistic!
Love those little birds and the linens. Also the dishes are so pretty. Love it all.
hugs
Sissie
